Monster Doll?

I had never heard of "Monster Dolls" until this weekend when I was asked to do a cake for a young girl's birthday. This is how it turned out.

Thanksgiving Schedule

Just an update to let everyone know our schedule for this Thanksgiving Holiday. On Wednesday November 21st, we will only be open from 9:00am to 2:00pm. We will be serving a limited menu. Our purpose is to allow those who have placed special orders for the holiday time to pick them up. We will also have some items available for those who need something at the last minute. No guarantees, but there will be some items available. Thursday November 22, THANKSGIVING DAY, we will be closed. On Friday November 23rd, BLACK FRIDAY, we will be open at 7:00am. Join us after those rough shopping hours. We will be there serving some great food!

What......Thanksgiving?

I know it doesnt feel like it outside, but Thanksgiving is right around the corner.......Bakery that is!  We've got the place dressed up for Turkey day and the pumpkin pies are in the over.  Literally, the pies are in the oven every morning now.  

Stop by and place your Thanksgiving pie and cake orders now before it's too late.  The order forms are at the bakery and we've got the ovens cranked up!

 

Bierocks in the bakery......

Monday stop by the bakery and try one of our new bierocks.  We have ham & cheese, jalapeno, ham & cheese and pulled pork.  Dont miss out!

Halloween Fun At The Corner Bakery

 We made some goulish treats for Halloween day and served up a few tricks along the way....

Groendyke Transport 2 Million Mile Banquet

All of us here at The Corner Bakery & Eatery would like to thank our "special customers", Doug & Dana Hibbs and Blaine & Brittany Beckley, for allowing us to help them celebrate their "Two Million Mile" achievement at Groendyke Transport.  We did our best to load them up with steak, potatoes, salad and a lot of dessert.........Congratulations!!!!!!

Pink is for Girls......

 Time spent Saturday preparing for a Baby Shower here at the bakery.  The theme was "cow girl" for the soon-to-be "Annibell Lou"! 

Diablo Hamwich today...

Stop by the bakery today and try pur Diablo Hamwich with a side for only $5.79. It's loaded with warm deli ham, bacon, guacamole and Swiss cheese topped with our habanero mustard on toasted ciabatta.

Football Anyone?

 This was our latest creation here at the Corner Bakery & Eatery.  The small footballs are "cake pops".  They were white, red velvet and chocolate dipped in chocolate.  The "helmet" is actually a 4 layer chocolate cake carved in to a helmet and then covered with fondant.  The mask is made from white chocolate.  We think it turned out great!  What do you think?

New Things At the Bakery!

 Have you been in to see the new "Fall Menu Items?"  We have giant buttermilk biscuits with pepper gravy, banana nut pancakes & wild berry crunch oatmeal!!

Busy Weekend for the Bakery

Our weekend started on Thursday evening as we helped with the reception for the SPIRIT conference at the Liberal Air Museum.......then on to breakfast on Friday morning..

 Jack Taylor and his wife & staff greeted all the guest and made our job very easy! 

 Then it was time for all of us here at the Bakery to begin preparations for Saturday at our Air Show Food Booth.  We rolled over 200 burritos and made a few hundred smoked turkey legs!
